  • Getting on with life, but feeling stuck, flat, or quietly overwhelmed.

  • Carrying anxiety, low mood, or persistent self‑doubt.

  • Struggling with relationships, boundaries, or direction.

  • Wanting depth and reflection, not advice or quick fixes.

Our Approach

We offer a calm, collaborative approach to counselling. Our integrative practitioners support clients to explore their experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and move towards meaningful change.

Our counsellors hold recognised qualifications, including a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, and are registered with the NCPS. All practitioners are DBS checked, insured, and work in line with UK professional, ethical, and legal standards, with ongoing supervision and professional development.

How counselling works

We offer a regular, confidential space to explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be difficult to work through alone.

Sessions are collaborative rather than directive. We pay attention to what’s happening in the present, while also making sense of past experiences
where relevant.

Counselling can be short‑term or open‑ended, depending on what you need.

FAQ

    1. First Meeting:
We talk about what’s going on in your life - why you're coming to therapy, what's bothering you, and what you want help with.

      1. Picking the Right Tools:
Based on what you tell me, we’ll choose different techniques to help you. Sometimes we might talk about your feelings, sometimes we might work on changing negative thoughts, or maybe practice relaxation techniques.

      2. Your Progress:
Over time, we’ll check in to see how you’re doing. If something’s not working, we’ll try a different approach. It’s all about what helps you.

      Why It Works:

Integrative counselling is flexible. It means we can use a mix of strategies to help you, based on what you need in the moment.
